PCASA Club Constitution 2024
This club constitution is a draft.
Clubs can adopt it for their club as is by adding their club name and the amount of committee members, bear in mind the size of your club may change in the future so it’s a good idea to pick a minimum and maximum number rather than a number or they can make changes to suit them.
The constitution whether this one or one the club puts together must be approved by the Executive Council before the club votes to approve and lodge with Business & consumer services (BCS) and can’t contravene the State constitution.

Below is another example for the winding up clause, this clause needs to suit your clubs circumstances, you may want to give your assets to another Pony Club or another local sporting organisation, so put what suits your club and think about what that may mean in years to come.
The association may be wound up in the manner provided for in Section 43 of the Act (part 5).
Surplus assets shall be dealt with, as per Section 43 of the Act. Surplus assets shall be distributed to any other organisation or organisations which are affiliated with Pony Club Association of South Australia. Such organisation or organisations shall be identified and determined by resolution of the Executive Council of Pony Club ® Association of South Australia Inc.

Think about who you want to make the decision on which organisations get you equipment & funds, you the club or the State Executive Council.
